16 new cases push Kenya's Covid-19 tally to 262

Kenya has reported 16 new cases of Covid-19 bringing the total to 262, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has told Senators.
Mutahi said this during a zoom meeting with Senate Ad-Hoc Committee chaired by Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja.
The CS also said that two more people have died in the last 24 hours.
Addressing the media on Saturday afternoon, Kagwe said that they tested 1, 
Those who have tested positive are 15 are Kenyans and a foreigner all who have no history of travel.
Nine Kenyans are from Nairobi, five from Mombasa and one from Homabay.
Kagwe added that seven more people have recovered bringing the recoveries to 60.
Kagwe also urged Kenyans to work on their nutritional needs to boost their immunity.
"I want to emphasize the Importance of Nutrition & physical activity to boost our immunity to overcome the disease better & speed up recovery of illnesses," he said.
The CS said that some Kenyans in quarantine are trying to offer bribes in order to get out.
He gave an example of Mandera where the county government has accused the police of facilitating the escape of 32 people from quarantine.
"Those who did that and those who facilitated it will face the full force of the law," Kagwe said.
The CS said that a driver of a truck that had carried fake mourners with an empty coffin from Nairobi to Homabay has tested positive for Covid-19.
