- Several videos were shared on social media as the Burj Khalifa joined the stay at home initiative by lighting up the message in different languages.
- Netizens were excited after watching the building light up Kaa Nymbani which is the Swahili word for the same - The building was also in the headlines in December 2019, after illuminating the Kenyan flag on the 56th celebration of Jamhuri Day The tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa, excited many in the world and especially Kenya with a beautiful stay at home message amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The building is known to shine a light on some of the positive or negative news affecting the world and this time it was all about COVID-19. 
In several videos shared on social media, one could see messages lighting up in different languages such as Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, and even Swahili in support of the Stay at Home initiative. The clip got a lot of attention from Kenyans excited to see the building remembering the people from East Africa in a wonderful gesture.
The gesture excited many Kenyans who shared beautiful pictures on social media, amazed at how beautiful the image appeared. The celebrations here in Kenya were led by President Uhuru Kenyatta at the Nyayo Stadium. The event was filled with joy and excitement with beautiful performances from gospel singer Guardian Angel and two pupils from Lang'ata West Primary School.
